Fillion drove the winner for trainer and owner Kevin Hildebrandt of Roseau River, MB. Cheyenne Dusk and Garett Isman finished second and Everybody Dance was third for Dean Rey.
Meadowlarks Legacy, who was a runner-up to Mackenzie Seelster in the 1-1/2 mile first leg last weekend at Wawanesa, earned his first win of the season in seven starts.
