Jacks Legend N was a 1:51 winner in the $20,000 Open Pace Monday at Harrington Raceway.
The Josh Green-trainee, who was paired up with driver Pat Berry, led most of the way from post position eight and drew away from his rivals in the stretch for a four-length win over stablemate Carlisimo and Scuola Hanover, who was the only mare in the field and beat her male counterparts last week.
Owned by Rich Lombardo, David Kryway, Eric Good and trainer Green, it was the seventh win of the season for Jacks Legend N, whose time of 1:51 was the fastest thus far of the meet. He paid $4.00 to win.
On the undercard, Soho Burning Love A ($2.40, Victor KIrby) was an easy winner in 1:52.3 in a $14,800 conditioned pace for mares. The 7-year-old Auckland Reactor mare set all the fractions in her open length win, the 23rd of her career for trainer Jim King, Jr. and owners Jo Ann Looney-King, Brian Carsey and Jeff Fought Racing.
