David Ratchford's Silver Dragon notched career win number 30 on Saturday afternoon, taking the top class at his home track of Northside Downs.
The nine-year-old Dragon Again gelding took over command past the half-mile mark and drew off to win the $1,100 feature pace by six lengths in a season's best clocking of 1:59.3. Longshot Kaitlyns Kowgirl and favourite Putnams Power rounded out the top three finishers.
The win was Silver Dragon's fourth this year in 17 starts and bumped his career bankroll to $280,799.
He paid $6.50 to win as the slight second choice in the field of eight.
