Annieswesterncard rallied off second-over cover to win the $231,500 Monument Circle featured on a stakes-filled program Saturday at Indiana Downs

Leaving from Post 8 in the 10-horse field, Annieswesterncard took up the sixth position with Peter Wrenn in the bike while Standupnkissme (Jim Dailey) grabbed the early lead from Post 4. After a :26.4 opening quarter, the parked out Ideal Danny (Brandon Simpson) reached up from a Post 10 start and posted the following intervals of :54.3 and 1:23.3. By the mid-way point Doubletrouble (Jamaica Patton) had started up the outer flow providing Annieswesterncard with cover. The fan favourite used a :27.2 final frame to prevail by one and a half lengths in 1:51.2.
Vertical Horizon (Dave Palone) was the runner-up with Evening Job (Ricky Macomber, Jr.) finishing third.
Trained by Joe Seekman for Sawgrass Farms LLC of Lockport, Illinois, Annieswesterncard won for the third time in 11 sophomore starts. The Western Hanover-Annie Your Card gelding’s ninth win overall boosted his bankroll over the half-million dollar mark.
Seekman enjoyed some more succes when a pair of his pupils finished 1-2 in the $197,900 Kentuckiana Stallion Management for two-year-old pacing fillies. Flip Flop Summer and driver Trace Tetrick led the field from start to finish, clocking her mile in 1:55. Artcam (Peter Wrenn) finished two lengths back in second. Seekman shares ownership of the Jennas Beach Boy miss with Tina Seekman of Centreville, and L And L Devisser LLC of Holland, Michigan. Flip Flop Summer now has two wins in four starts on her record.
Wrenn returned to the winner’s circle in the first of two $93,750 Kentuckiana Stallion Management divisions for two-year-old filly trotters. Behindclosedoors front-stepped her way to a 1:59.4 score for trainer Chuck Sylvester. The Andover Hall filly has won half of her six starts for owners Melvin Hartman of Ottawa, Ont., Herb Liverman of Miami Beach, Florida, and David McDuffee of Nashua, New Hampshire.
Cantab It All won the second split in 1:57.2 for driver Dave Palone and trainer Jimmy Takter. The win was the daughter of Cantab Hall's fifth in six outings. She is owned by Hartman, John Fielding of Toronto, Christina Takter of East Windsor, New Jersey, and Falkbolagen Ab of Sweden.
A pair of $55,000 Oliver Trotting Classic divisions for three-year-olds saw Palone and Winning Mister prevail by nearly 12 lengths in 1:54.3 for trainer Rich Gillock and owner/breeder Robert Key of Leechburg, Pennsylvania. In the final split, Wrenn scored with Peter Lugar in 1:55.2 by a head over Cruisealong (Dave Magee), for conditioner Trond Smedshammer and owner Petrus Wolter of Netherlands.
