Mike Langdon commanded Georgian Downs’ 11-race program on Friday night with an impressive five-win performance in the bike

Langdon teamed with the Brett Riley-trained Holiday Grin (1:56) for his first win in the third race and then doubled up in the following dash with Doinsomethingright (1:55.2) for trainer Scott Irvin. The resident of Ancaster, Ontario recorded back-to-back wins again starting in the seventh race with Meadowview Sunny (1:55.4) for Brad Shakes and Kennairnsmilenwave (1:55.3) for Paul Taylor. Vapour Trail (1:55) closed out the card with Langdon at the lines for conditioner Nicholas Fair.
With 170 wins on the year, Langdon has earned over $1.1 million in purses. Over the course of his career he has visited the winner's circle 1,696 times and earned $12.4 million. His career season saw him win 394 races and earn over $2.7 million in 2008.
