In addition to $5,000 in prize money for horseplayers, the Big M Club's inaugural Beat The Boss handicapping challenge also produced a $1,000 donation to the Standardbred Retirement Foundation (SRF)

.

For five weeks this summer, new Meadowlands Racetrack operator Jeff Gural challenged the track's rewards club members to out-handicap him for the chance to win a $1,000 betting voucher. At the start of the contest, Gural pledged his bankroll to the SRF. He finished with $314 and rounded it up to a $1,000 donation for the charity which cares for, rehabilitates and secures lifetime adoption of non-competitive racehorses.

The Big M Club players who Beat The Boss with the highest bankrolls for the five weeks were George Csaszar (July 21), Gerald Vitiello (July 29), Ian Mcintosh (8/5), Anthony Satriano (8/12) and Henry Karsen (8/19).

The Big M Club is the most lucrative rewards program in racing and FREE to join. Contact Mitch Cohen ([email protected]) or any Guest Service representative to become a member. Or visit BigMClub.com for more information.
