Driver Brad Forward completed a Saturday driving grand slam aboard Dustylane Wildbill in the featured Preferred Pace at St. John's Racing and Entertainment Centre.
With the inside post advantage in this week's $535 Preferred Handicap, Dustylane Wildbill romped to a seven and a half length victory in 2:02.1 to close out the seven-race card. Inspired Art, who had dominated the first three Preferreds of the season, finished second giving trainer Scott Forward a 1-2 finish in the feature. Machthemoment was third.
The four-year-old son of SS Sand Dollar earned his second straight win for owner Joanne Forward of Goulds, Newfoundland.
Brad and Scott Forward teamed up for two other wins on the card with Victors Passion and Dusty Lane Zoe. Brad Forward was also victorious with Our Ryall Flush for owner/trainer Carl Ryall.
