Trainer Mandy Archer increased her lead atop the leader board for trainers at Rideau Carleton Raceway thanks to a four-win performance during Thursday’s 12-race card.
Archer watched Zoes Lucky Guy take the opener in 1:53.3 for driver Guy Gagnon before that duo returned to win Race 6 with Major Motion in 1:57.4.
They also captured Race 10 with Saulsbrook Kaisen in 1:56.4 before coming right back to victory lane in Race 11 with Thinkingofyoubabe who clicked for a three-length score in 1:53.3.
The big day at the office gives Archer 49 wins this season – just five wins shy of matching last year’s career-best season for wins. The 141-time winner has watched horses from her stable bank over $750,000 to date.
