Better Get Ready added another series title to his resume after he rallied home from off the pace to win the $21,800 Juggernaut Final on Saturday night at Sudbury Downs.

Mike MacNeill positioned Better Get Ready second over after getting away fifth and then swept to command en route to a four length victory in 1:56 flat. The three-year-old E Dees Cam gelding, who lowered the sophomore track record to 1:53.4 with an eye-catching 15-1/2 length victory in the second leg of the series, paid $3.30 to win as the favourite.

Apache White Foot, winner of a pair of his series divisions, rallied from last to second for driver Gerry Belanger while Dannys Atthedance and Paul MacLean finished third.

Better Get Ready has won half of his 12 starts, including Sudbury's Baby To Boomer Series Final on July 21, while banking over $40,000 for his local connections, trainer Jay Polifroni and owner Jim Polifroni.

The series is for pacers that are five years old and younger and non-winners of two races or $20,000 lifetime (fillies & mares $27,500 lifetime) as of midnight, Saturday, July 7, 2012. No additional allowances.
