Fredericton Feature To Michaels Pleasure

Michaels Pleasure captured the feature race at Fredericton Raceway on Thursday, and he did so in front-stepping fashion for the duo of driver Mark Haig and owner/trainer

Serge Otis of Berthier-Sur-Mer, Quebec.

The son of Mach Three sliced out panels of :29.1, :59.3 and 1:30.2 en route to the wire-to-wire score in 2:00.4. The victory was the 10th of the season for Michaels Pleasure, who defeated Seven Signs and Hurricane Island.

The victory was one of three on the card for Mark Haig. The Saint John-based driver scored earlier on the card with Longworth Legacy in 2:03.3 and SOS Pearl Vision in 2:03.1.

Phil Reid was in the sulky as two-year-old Milliondollardad earned his first career win. The pacer, who was making his third career start, stopped the clock in 2:04

Racing resumes next Thursday at 7 p.m.
