What could make Herve Filion’s appearance at the Orleans County Fair, in Barton, VT more special? How about racing with his brother?
According to an anonymous source Yves Filion will compete with his brother in Thursday’s International competition.
Press releases for the special event that features drivers from both sides of the border have announced competitors Herve Filion, Jason Bartlett, Stephane Bouchard, Jordan Stratton, Todd Whitney and two special drivers to be announced on the day of the race, one of which now appears to be Yves Filion.
“I cannot confirm or deny any rumors, but I will say that everyone should come out because it’s going to be quite a special event,” said Kim Brooks, Barton’s assistant racing director.
The festivities get underway at 11:30 a.m. with a special welcoming ceremony for the drivers and the dedication of the new track surface. The International Pace and Trot will be run in succession, the first of which starting promptly at noon.
There will be an autograph session for the International drivers immediately following their races.
