Brodeur To Help Fight Breast Cancer

On October 11, the Newfoundland Horsepeople will be hosting the finals for the Mildred Williams International Driving Series at the St. John's Racing and Entertainment Centre, and Brodeur Sulky will be doing its part to support

a great cause.

The ladies will be doing all the driving that day, as horseman Scott Forward has told Trot Insider that owners have agreed to allow them to steer through the entire card.

"Many plans are in the works to make this event the best the series has ever seen," Forward told Trot Insider. "We have teamed up with Brodeur Sulky on what we are calling 4 Stars for a Cure, a great fundraiser for breast cancer."

Forward explained that Brodeur Sulky wanted to get involved with the series and support the cause, and that it has decided to donate a hot pink 4 Stars sulky to be raffled off.

The sulky will be on display at the St. John's Racing and Entertainment Centre and will be drawn for on October 11 with proceeds going to Breast Cancer.

Tickets are $25 each or five for $100. Anyone interested in purchasing tickets can contact Scott Forward at 1-709-687-6235 or via email at [email protected].
