Judge Joe and The Chancellor have been established as the morning line favourites for the pair of $40,000 Yonkers Trot elimination races which will take place Saturday
, August 21 at Yonkers Raceway Yonkers Trot No. 55.
Fourteen three-year-olds -- including one filly -- have been entered for Yonkers Raceway's marquee trotting event.
The Yonkers Trot's companion race, the $367,985 Hudson Filly Trot, attracted 11 lasses. Yonkers' card this Saturday will also feature two $20,000 elims for the 'Hudson.'
The first four finishers in each elim will gain entrance to their respective finals, to be contested Saturday, August 29. The Yonkers Trot will boast a $670,774 purse. The Hudson boasts a $327,985 purse.
