Dan Patch Award winner Heston Blue Chip overcame an outside post position to win the featured $30,000 Winners Over Handicap Pace at Harrah's Philadelphia on Sunday afternoon.

Tim Tetrick rolled the favoured son of American Ideal to an early two length lead from post eight and led the way through fractions of :27.2, :55, and 1:22.3 before holding off the pocket-pulling Stonehouse Adam (Yannick Gingras) and first over challenger Mickey Hanover (David Miller) down the stretch to win by three-quarters of a length in 1:50.2.

Heston Blue Chip, who was named the 2012 U.S. Three-Year-Old Pacing Colt of the Year, has now posted back-to-back wins at Saratoga Raceway and Harrah's Philadelphia for trainer Linda Toscano and owner Kenneth Jacobs of Baldwinsville, New York. He is four-for-nine during his four-year-old campaign with $63,520 banked in purses.

The 29-time career winner is approaching the $1.5 million earnings mark.
