Brenda Teague’s Anneke and David Hamm and Rodney Long’s Movin On Up  were co-feature winners in their respective $20,000 Open divisions Monday at Harrington Raceway.

Anneke ($4.20, Pat Berry), a six-year-old Southwind Lynx mare was a wire-to-winner in the Mares Open in 1:54.4 over Designed To Dance and Rock N Shard. It was her fourth win of the season as her seasonal earnings ballooned to more than $91,000 for owner/trainer Teague.

Meanwhile, Movin On Up ($2.80, Allan Davis) was a 1:52.4 winner off a pocket trip behind pacesetter Mack. Mack did the heavy lifting throughout before a late stretch kick saw Movin On Up’s nose hit the wire first in a narrow margin of victory over the pacesetter. Major Betts was third.

It was the ninth win of the year for Movin On Up, who is trained by Chuck Crissman, Jr. The seven-year-old Bettors Delight gelding has banked nearly $170,000 this year.

The live racing schedule at Harrington will remain on a Monday, Tuesday time frame until September 5 when the schedule shifts to Monday through Wednesday until October 19. Post time nightly is 4:30 p.m.
