Ladies From Hell ($3.30) sprinted to a clear lead and never looked back in Wednesday's (Aug. 14) feature at The Track On 2, an optional claiming pace for distaffers with a $5,000 purse.
Trainer-driver Paul Davies put the five-year-old Classic Card Shark mare in play from the outset, and the pair sprinted off to a four-length lead after clearing from the outside post five. They maintained control of the pace over Triple Action (Jamie Gray) for the entire mile, edging clear again in deep stretch to win by three lengths in 1:56.2, the fastest mile recorded to date by an older pacing mare at The Track On 2. Triple Action was a clear second over Summer Fantasy (Mike Hennessy).
Davies shares ownership of 16-time winner Ladies From Hell with Deborah Pinel. The featured win completed a driving hat trick for Davies on the six-race card.
