Two-year-old pacing colt Super S Yzerman rallied three-wide off cover and downed divisional point leader Tobins Fusion in Wednesday's fastest Atlantic Sires Stakes event at Charlottetown Driving Park.

Entering Wednesday's $8,040 contest with an undefeated racing record including a pair of victories in the previous Summerside and Truro sire stakes legs, favourite Tobins Fusion and trainer/driver Gilles Barrieau carved out fractions of :28.4, :59.4 and 1:30.4 over the "good" track. However, trainer/driver Clare MacDonald had Super S Yzerman positioned second over and ready to roll at the third quarter station. The 2-1 second choice kicked home in :29.2 to defeat the pacesetter in a new mark of 2:00.4. Touch Of Thunder and Earl Smith finished third off a pocket trip.

MacDonald shares ownership of the homebred Western Paradise-Island Tradition colt with Morah Kerr of Greenfield, N.S. Super S Yzerman also won his first ATSS event on July 11 at Summerside. He is now three-for-five in his career.

Dumas Walker and Rebelseven also earned their second ATSS trophies while Mr Comraderie celebrated a maiden-breaking victory in the other "A" divisions.

Dumas Walker went wire-to-wire to win his division in 2:02.1 by one and a half lengths over first up Settlement Request and Pictonian Storm. Trainer/driver Myles Heffernan shares ownership of the Western Success-Im A Reelist gelding with Joseph Poirier of Reserve Mines, N.S.

Kevin MacLean's homebred Rebelseven also front-stepped his way to victory lane, stopping the clock in 2:01 with Marc Campbell aboard. The Force Of Life-Karen Rebel colt won by one length over Dusty Lane Oliver and Island Gigolo.

Following up a pair of runner-up finishes in his previous ATSS events, Mr Comraderie romped to a 2:01.3 two and a quarter length victory with Mike Stevenson driving for trainer Wade Sorrie and owner Daniel Ross of Belfast, P.E.I. The Western Paradise-Windsun Athena gelding was followed under the wire by Rancousy and J J Laser.

The $2,500 "B" divisions went to three-time winner Dallas (2:02.1) and maiden-breakers Elm Grove Icecream (2:04.1) and My Uncle Pete (2:05).
