The Kelly Crump stable won early and often on Friday's (Aug. 12) harness racing card at Century Downs.
Crump went on a three-race win streak starting in the second race on the program.
Picking up his first of four wins in the driver's seat, Dave Kelly guided four-year-old pacing mare Blue Star Mystic ($13) to her ninth win of the season, a half-length score over Oriental Express in 1:55.2 for Crump.
Three-year-old pacing filly Salary ($5) was up next for the Crump crew with a 1:56 victory by a length in rein to Logan Gillis.
Crazybeautifultome, another sophomore filly, notched her second straight victory and took a new mark of 1:57.1 with Kelly aboard to cap off Crump's training triple.
Crump, who sent out five starters on the nine-race card, finished no worse than second.
Crump is among the top five trainers at the Century Downs meet and boasts a 0.366 training average from 118 starts this year. His stable has recorded 28 wins along with 19 seconds and 14 thirds, good for more than $150,000 in purse earnings.
