While driver Brad Forward continues to lead Canada in wins, some may be surprised to hear the name of the driver on his heels in second - and according to Scott Zeron, he doesn't like finishing second

.

"Brad's an amazing driver and he's consistent every year," Zeron told Trot Radio's Norm Borg. "I know that I'm going to have to catch up to him, he's not going to come back to me. Anybody who knows me knows that I hate finishing second so I'm going to work as hard as I can to be the youngest leading driver [for wins] at the end of the year."

Zeron also discusses his choice of drives as he makes his Maritime debut in Sunday's second Gold Cup & Saucer trial.

"I chose Part Shark [over Kid Carson]. With his gate speed [from the rail], I think he's going to get situated really well," said Zeron. "Everybody tells me the crowd is just unbelievable and the atmosphere is just like the Little Brown Jug so I'm pretty excited to go down."

The full interview, in which Borg and Zeron also discuss being the son of a top driver and Zeron's goals for 2010 and 2011, also covers Zeron's thoughts on the Racing Development and Sustainability Plan. Find out Zeron's thoughts by listening to the interview, available below.
