After seizing command in an early three-way battle, All Out Henry ($8.80) faced nary a challenger through the final three-quarters of a 2:02.4 victory in Saturday evening's (Aug. 10) $6,000 Racing Under Saddle event at Georgian Downs.
The seven-year-old Cornaro Dasolo gelding, under Amber Lawson Brand, worked from post 3 to clear Massive Muscles (Pam Forgie) and Lets Leavem (Sarah Town) through a :29.2 first quarter, and from there never looked back. All Out Henry sprinted off to a four-length lead through a :59 half and maintained some clearance through three-quarters in 1:30.2.
At the top of the stretch, All Out Henry got a couple right-handed reminders to stay to his task, and he did, evading a strong outside rally from Cantabernet (Karoline Neilsen) by 1-1/2 lengths. Massive Muscles was a one-paced third, just collared for the runner-up spot in the last stride.
Pam Forgie owns and trains All Out Henry, a 19-time winner. It was his third victory under saddle. For Lawson Brand, it was her second career victory in 14 mounts to date.
