Brett Miller put on a driving clinic at Kawartha Downs on Tuesday thanks to a five-win performance which included a track record effort with Kor Me Lil Lady
.
Miller showed no mercy to the competition with Kor Mel Lil Lady, who drew off to win her $7,500 trotting assignment by 10-1/4 lengths in a time of 1:55.4. The effort knocked three-fifths of a second off Norway No Day’s former track record for older trotting mares. She established her 1:56.2 record on February 17, 2009.
Kor Mel Lil Lady, who trotted in the 1:58 range in each of her last three starts for trainer Melissa Killen, certainly took her game to a whole new level en route to posting the career-best clocking with Miller at the helm. The homebred is a now winner in excess of $67,935 for William, Brenda and Melissa Killen of Hampton, ON.
Miller also visited the winner’s circle with Thebestofmagic (1:56.3), Be Good To Me (1:56.2), Pauls Pass (1:53.1) and Crusty Sailor (1:57.1).
