Trot Insider has learned that Pabos Racetrack in Quebec will be hosting a card of live harness racing
Sunday, August 16.
Harold Duguay, event organizer and director of the Parc Recreatif de Pabos, has confirmed with Trot Insider that roughly 45 horses have been entered to race Sunday and that he is expecting eight races on the program.
This is the 40th year that the Pabos track has hosted live harness racing. The track hosted its first live card June 26, 1969.
Duguay has also conveyed that there will be a horse racing on Sunday that will be looking to break the track record, which currently stands at 1:57.1. Six-year-old Intrepid Seelster gelding Intrepid Brigadier will be the one looking to reset the Pabos speed mark.
