Desperatehousewife teamed up with driver Todd Ratchford to score her third consecutive win in the featured $15,000 Fillies & Mares Preferred Trot on Saturday night at Georgian Downs for trainer and part-owner Jean MacDonell.

The daughter of Jonathan Lobell-Ms Pro made the winning move past the :28 first quarter mark from third and settled on top in front of Saqqara Dream (Dan Clements). The 7-5 second-choice led the way past the half in :58.2 and three-quarters in 1:26.4 before kicking home in :28.4 for the two and a quarter length-victory in 1:55.3.

Saqqara Dream rode the pocket to finish second and Lady Gambler (Simon Allard) was third.

MacDonell shares ownership of Desperatehousewife with Wayne Corini of Rockville, Maryland and Scott Jaconetty of San Jose, California. The winner of six races in 15 starts and over $50,000 this year scored her 40th lifetime win tonight. The seven-year-old mare now sports a bankroll of $298,484.
