The field is set for the 2024 Meadowlands Pace with post positions drawn on Tuesday, July 9.
The Meadowlands Racetrack's signature $650,000 USD race for three-year-old pacers will headline a stakes-packed harness racing program this Saturday, July 13 in East Rutherford, New Jersey.
The favoured Canadian-campaigned Tony Beaton trainees, Nijinsky and Legendary Hanover, have drawn posts three and six, respectively. The former, undefeated in six seasonal starts, followed up his North America Cup triumph with a career-best 1:47.3 victory in the Meadowlands Pace eliminations with Louis-Philippe Roy driving. The latter is the reigning divisional champion and won his elimination in a new lifetime mark of 1:48 in rein to James MacDonald.
