Horses at Kempton Park Racecourse south of London, England pulled on their dancing shoes to take part in the very first race staged with a live soundtrack
.
During Wednesday's race, the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra played the "William Tell" Overture, the "Lone Ranger" theme. The unique event was organized with hopes of wowing spectators and encouraging a speedier race.
Action Impact was the winner of the one mile, three furlong course (2.2km) in 2:20.34, more than two seconds off the record pace.
