Mr Mach Jimmy drew the rail and is the 2-1 morning line favourite to win the feature race on Sunday (July 10) at Dresden Raceway.
The nine-year-old Mach Three gelding is owned by Sally Charlton and trained by Lindsey Kerr. Kerr has four wins and two seconds in six starts at Dresden this year. Mr Mach Jimmy has four wins in 18 starts this campaign and will have Scott Wray at the controls.
Another Kerr student, Squadron Seelster, is looking to make it three in a row in Dresden's ninth race on Sunday. The three-year-old Sportswriter gelding is co-owned by Kerr and partners Dave Deighton, Derek Romano and Robert Sims Jr. Wray will be in the bike.
Sunday is Stampede Day at Dresden Raceway as fans are urged to wear their best western wear for a chance to win prizes.
