Private Splendor went wire-to-wire to win the feature at Dresden Raceway this afternoon for driver Kevin Wallis

Wallis blasted out of post position one right to the front as he cut fractions of :27.2, :57.2 and 1:27.4 with a mile time of 1:59 for owners Bulletproof Enterprises of Boca Raton, Florida and trainer Wayne Preszcator. The four-year-old Western Hanover mare has now earned just over $24,000 in nine starts this year. Plumbing Princess and Donnie Rankin Jr. charged up on the outside to finish second while EE Bay and Gene Piroski held on to pay the show ticket.
Wallis is the leading dash winner at Dresden Raceway after a pair of wins today, giving him 17 victories on the year while Mark Williams is second with 12 victories and Marc St Louis is third with 10 wins.
The handle today was $9,707, the first time this season it has dipped below $10,000.
Wallis and Brad Forward each had driving doubles.
