If you haven’t already marked Saturday, July 11 on your calendar, then you risk missing Ontario’s greatest night of racing. In total, eight championship stakes finals will be contested, bringing the best of Canadian racing together under one roof.
For fans, on top of the pageantry and family fun of Gold Rush, there’s a chance for a $100,000 payday. One lucky fan will take to the track following the evening’s eighth race and select one of 100 gold boxes, each containing a prize ranging from $500 all the way up to $100,000. Ballots for the “Hundred Grand In Your Hand” Giveaway appear in every Georgian Downs program.
Families will enjoy the carnival attractions of Gold Rush, including pony rides, petting zoos, gold panning games, horse & buggy rides, face painters, roving musicians, free celebrity horse photos, rodeo-style horse performances and much, much more!
The first 1,000 fans through the door on the evening of July 11 will receive a limited edition Gold Rush baseball cap with program purchase. In addition, each program contains ballots for $1,000 editions of Deal or No Deal and Money Machine Madness.
