Les Butler has resigned as vice-president of racing and gaming at Edmonton Northlands - effective immediately
.
"He resigned for personal reasons," said Edmonton Northlands president Ken Knowles. Butler had been the guiding force behind the track for nearly 15 years.
"Kevin Behm (director, racing), Marty Lunde (director, gaming) and Rey Wosar (vice-president, facilities and infrastructure) will form the senior management team (for racing/gaming) with Rey acting as interim vice-president," continued Knowles.
