Harrah’s Hoosier Park Racing & Casino has announced that tickets are now on sale for the 40th edition of the Breeders Crown at Harrah’s Hoosier Park Racing & Casino on Friday, Oct. 27 and Saturday, Oct. 28, 2023.
The 2023 Breeders Crown, presented by the Indiana Standardbred Breed Development and the Indiana Standardbred Association, is harness racing’s annual series of 12 championship events and is valued at more than $7 million.
Harrah’s Hoosier Park will host the Breeders Crown for the third time, having previously held the 2017 and 2020 editions In 2023, the four freshman Breeders Crown finals will take place on Friday, Oct. 27 and the eight three-year-old and up events will take place on Saturday, Oct. 28. The freshman events will compete for a purse of $700,000, a purse level not reached for those divisions since 2008.
While the clubhouse will be reserved for the connections with horses racing in the Breeders Crown events, tickets are officially on sale for the Global Tote VIP Tent, grandstand seating and the premium betting carrels.
The Global Tote VIP Tent will feature an upscale experience in a large, climate-controlled party tent next to Hoosier Park’s racetrack. Tickets start at $108 (plus Ticketmaster fees) per person, per day, and include gourmet buffet selections, non-alcoholic beverages, live entertainment, an official Breeders Crown live racing program and a Breeders Crown souvenir.
Grandstand tickets start at $35 (plus Ticketmaster fees) per person, per day, and include a reserved seat in Harrah’s Hoosier Park's state-of-the-art Terrace Showroom, a $15 dining credit and an official Breeders Crown race program.
The betting carrel tickets start at $63 (plus Ticketmaster fees) per person, per day, and include a reserved seat in Harrah’s Hoosier Park’s cutting-edge, individual betting carrels each featuring its own TV in a state-of-the-art simulcast center located in the Terrace area of the racing facility. Each ticket will also include a $15 dining credit and an official Breeders Crown live racing program.
All seating options can be purchased via Ticketmaster and are subject to Ticketmaster fees and taxes. A full map of the seating options and venue can be viewed by visiting Ticketmaster.

General admission into Harrah’s Hoosier Park is free, including the night of the Breeders Crown, but general seating is not guaranteed. The entire facility will be non-smoking throughout the Terrace on both Friday and Saturday nights of the Breeders Crown events to support a family-friendly environment. Harrah’s Hoosier Park kicked off its 30th season of live racing on Friday, March 24 and is set to host the richest open stakes schedule ever throughout the 2023 live racing season. Worth over a combined $12 million, the 160-day season will be the most lucrative stakes program in the track’s history culminated by hosting the Breeders Crown events.
