According to a report by horseandhound.co.uk, the British Horseracing Authority is running a promotional campaign which sees fans of Walkers crisps get discounted tickets for race meetings.
Tokens from the packages of crisps packets are redeemed for the discounted entry.
"The aim is to give families a good-value day out and help broaden racing's appeal to the wider public," horseandhound.co.uk quoted a BHA spokesman as saying. "We've had a fantastic response from racecourses and have recruited 49 of the 60 tracks in the country, including Ascot, York and Doncaster."
