Rideau Preferred To Imjustalittleguy

After missing the board in the last two editions of Rideau Carleton Raceway’s Preferred Pace, Imjustalittleguy got his act together and found his way to victory lane in this week’s contest for owners Lloyd Stone of Portland and Dr. John Tobin of Elgin, Ontario..

Ted McDonald laid down panels of :28.1, :58.3 and 1:26 with Imjustalittleguy before scooting home in :28.2 for the 1:54.2 decision. Three-quarters of a length in arrears was runner-up Legacy N Diamonds. The show dough went to Gogogadgetgo.

MacDonald conditions the seven-year-old son of Armbro Operativ-Armbro Velour, who won for the fourth time in 13 starts this season. The 27-time winner has banked in excess of $208,000 to date.
