Show Runner provided late-race fireworks when she exploded through the lane to pull off a 7-1 upset in the Independence Day feature at The Meadows, a $20,000 Filly & Mare Not Listed Preferred/Preferred Handicap Pace.

Show Runner grabbed the early lead for Jim Pantaleano but was shuffled to fifth entering the final turn. Pantaleano guided her off the cones to the center of the track, where she knifed through the slop and triumphed in 1:52. Certified Ideal found a seam between horses to finish second, two lengths back, while the first-over Southwind Roulette earned show.

Christen Pantaleano trains Show Runner, a six-year-old daughter of Little Steven-Peace Runner who extended her career bankroll to $355,866, for A Piece Of The Action LLC.
