Odds-on favourite What Chapter rolled off cover rounding the final turn to take the $11,500 featured trot at Georgian Downs on Tuesday, July 30.
Driver Jason Ryan had the Luc Blais trainee positioned seventh while Absolut Seelster led the field to a :28.3 first quarter. Power Move, sitting third, angled first over moving to a :57.4 half while supplying cover to Flying Isa N towards the backside. What Chapter edged wide moving towards three-quarters in 1:26.2 and ranged wider circling the last turn. Absolut Seelster clung to command through the stretch but got outkicked by the four-year-old Chapter Seven gelding and settled for second—a half length behind—in a 1:56 mile. Flying Isa N took third.
Owned by Determination, What Chapter won his first race from nine starts this season and his eighth from 33 overall, earning $127,280. He paid $3.60 to win.
