Last night CBC New Brunswick aired a brief segment spotlighting the resurgence of standardbred racing in the province. The piece focuses in on Horse Racing New Brunswick and features sound bites from some players in the local industry.
Horseman Bill Watts, Business NB minister Victor Boudreau, HRNB executive director Jeff Malloy along with Chris Connor all comment on the state of the provincial industry and convey their enthusiasm for the future.
The segment begins at the 15:30 point into the video and runs until the 18:05 mark.
Also, keep your eyes peeled for the July, 2009 edition of Trot Magazine, which also makes a cameo appearance in the segment. The Trot issue features an article which profiles the rebirth of the New Brunswick industry. The article can be read on the SC website in both English and French.
