Mario Charron put on a Tuesday evening driving clinic at Hippodrome Trois-Rivieres thanks to a five-win performance on the 10-race card.
Charron kicked off the program by sweeping the Daily Double with Shark Drummond (2:01.2) and Akoya (1:59). He returned to victory lane in Race 4 with Thebestofme (1:57.3) before tacking on wins with Aquanilla (2:00.3) in Race 8 and Perfect Tonight (2:00) in Race 9.
The reinsman from Mascouche, QC is just three wins shy of 1,900 lifetime tallies, and his purse haul stands in excess of $10.6 million.
