Driver Trevor Henry found himself in the Grand River Raceway winner’s circle time and time again on Friday night as he reeled off five consecutive victories and added one more later on the 12-race program
.
Henry won races three through seven with Shes Fly N ($4.20) for trainer Danny Girard, a maiden-breaking Modern Best ($5.30) for Ben Wallace, Girlsruleboyslose ($3.10) for Wayne Henry, Sweet Thang ($16.70) for Michael Pattison, and Bay Point Park ($3.70) for AJ Moore. His final victory came in the 10th race with the Mark Austin-trained Ourboyjosh ($6.10).
The resident of Arthur, ON ranks second in the track’s driver standings with 56 victories under his belt, and number seven for wins in Canada with 267. Lifetime, he has won 3,606 times and earned over $23 million in purses.
