Iwontdothatagain extended his winning streak to two in a row thanks to a 1:54.2 triumph in Monday’s $10,000 Open Pace at Century Downs.
Trainer/driver Kelly Hoerdt put Iwontdothatagain on the lead immediately from Post 1 and together they whacked out fractions of :28.3, :58 and 1:27 before roaring home in :27.2 to win by three-quarters of a length over Read The Proposal. Johnny Gun was third.
Hoerdt shares ownership on the six-year-old son of Stonebridge Regal-Island Nessie with Ed Keryliuk. Together, they’ve watched the gelding rack up an impressive record of 8-3-1 from just 14 trips to the track this season. The 14-time winner has banked just shy of $95,000 to date.
