Rideau Leaderboard Gets A Shuffle

Driver Guy Gagnon jumped from third to first in the drivers standings at Rideau Carleton Raceway on Sunday night in Ottawa thanks to his five-win performance

Gagnon overtook the leader Stephane Gendron, who recorded two victories himself during the day. Gagnon now leads by one win over Gendron with 126 while John MacDonald moved into third place after his own driving grand slam today. He trails Gendron by just one victory.

Gagnon kicked off the 15-race card with a victory aboard Dr Thrill ($3) and returned for more in the fifth race with L H Remachable ($8.50), both for trainer Sebastien Giroux. The resident of Gatineau, Que. drove his own pupil Ok Mnm ($10.30) to victory in the 10th race before providing Giroux with a training triple in the 11th dash aboard Sos Poweroflove ($5.10). Finally, Gagnon capped off the card winning with his trainee Pacific Warrior ($5).
