Letstrytowgleagain Earns Second Buckeye Win

Letstrytowgleagain picked up his second Buckeye Stallion Series victory with a 1:51.3 score on Wednesday (July 28) at MGM Northfield Park. Four $17,500 divisions of the Buckeye Stallion Series for three-year-old pacing colts and geldings highlighted the program.

The son of Mr Wiggles raced third till the three-quarters and then moved to get up by a half length in 1:51.3 in line to Aaron Merriman. Trained by Logan Powell, Letstrytowgleagain was a winner in the second leg at Northfield on July 4.

The fastest of the four winners was Truly Noble (Nob Hill High), who drew away by five lengths and stopped the timer in 1:51. The colt went wire-to-wire for Merriman and trainer Brian Boring.

JWs Chrome (Racing Hill), driven by Kayne Kauffman for trainer Michael Arnold, took a two-hole trip and won easily by 1-1/4 lengths in 1:52.4.

The other winner was Barnard Hanover (Well Said), who raced in seventh to the top of the stretch and then flew home to get up by a head in 1:53.4. Merriman, who picked up his fourth win on the card, drove for trainer Larry Finn.

The three-year-old colt pacers will take a month off before contesting the fourth leg at Eldorado Scioto Downs on Aug. 28.
