The 2011 World Driving Championship is officially set to get underway, as the race offices at Chester Racetrack and Tioga Downs have completed their draws for the opening legs of the anticipated event.

Chester will get the festivities underway on Sunday, July 31 with a four-pack of WDC races on the 13-dash card. First-race post time on Sunday at Chester is 12:40 p.m., and the WDC dashes have been carded as Races 2, 3, 5 and 6.

Canada's WDC representative, Jody Jamieson, has received some relative good luck from the racing gods for Chester's opening-leg tilts, at least in the eyes of the morning-line oddsmaker. Race 2 will see Jamieson aboard Lord Terror (PP8, 7-2), and he will be paired with Charleighs Angel (PP3, 5-1), Cyclone Cully N (PP5, 9-2) and Typhoon Blue Chip (PP6, 15-1) in the next three respective WDC dashes.

Tioga Downs will roll out the red carpet for the WDC on Monday, August 1. The upstate New York raceway has carded WDC dashes as Races 2, 3, 4 and 5. Although morning line odds have yet to be finalized, Jamieson will handle Muscles Malone (PP3) in Race 2, and Sun Moon Lake (PP1), Sabana Hanover (PP2) and Overseer NZ (PP7) in the subsequent tilts. Tioga's first-race post time on Monday will be 6:00 p.m.
