Eleven youngsters recently participated in the 2009 Harness Racing Youth League at Mohegan Sun at Pocono Downs
.
There was no charge for the unique camp sponsored by the PHHA and Mohegan Sun at Pocono Downs in conjunction with the Pennsylvania Harness Racing Commission. From basic horsemanship skills to explanations of equipment and experience in driving horses, the camp provided the boys and girls with hands-on opportunities as well as classroom instruction and lots of fun.
