It is safe to say that the majority of the participants in the Canadian harness racing industry have never been able to experience Manitoba’s Standardbred fair scene. It’s not a new thing – it’s been active for decades – but photographer Colin Corneau has captured some of the circuit’s moments in a solid little gallery.
Corneau’s gallery of a recent Glenboro stop on the Manitoba Great Western Harness Racing Circuit captures the action on the track, at the wagering windows and in the shed row.
Circuit action is scheduled to roll into Killarney this coming weekend for a pair of live cards.
