Making it look even easier than she did while taking her career debut by five lengths, La Bella Vita Stables, Robert Taylor & Kevin Dixon’s My Miss Caroline completely overwhelmed nine rivals as she rolled to an eight and a half length victory in Wednesday’s $7,000 Fox Valley Flan Stake elimination at Balmoral Park

. The top nine finishers will join Bonnies Star in next week’s $46,000 (est.) final.

Confidently handled by Hall of Famer Dave Magee, the daughter of Psychic Spirit made her way to the top while being parked through an opening quarter in :30.1.

After grabbing control of the proceedings, My Miss Caroline quickly rebuffed a short lived challenge from longshot Cooper Doll as the field hit the half-mile mark in :59.0.

The issue was never in doubt from that point on as the Robert Taylor-trained miss extended her lead as she trotted by the three-quarter-mile mark in 1:29.2. Opening up the lead with every stride, My Miss Caroline left the rest of the field in her dust as she stopped the clock in an effortless 1:59.1. Fox Valley Mesa (Marcus Miller), another from the Robert Taylor barn, rallied to finish second while Search For Reality (Mike Oosting) was third. Also gaining spots in the final were Fox Valley Helena, Cooper Doll, Powerfulconnection, Capture The Moment and Crimson Vixen.
