The Thursday night (July 25) program at Running Aces provided lots of exciting action on the track as well some very fast performances.

One of the most impressive displays of the night was from sophomore pacing gelding Fast Larry (Arts Chip), who advanced to two-for-two on the season with a gate-to-wire romp in the $23,288 Minnesota-sired male 'A' pace in 1:52.1 which lowered his career mark by nearly two full seconds.

James Kennedy was the winning pilot behind Fast Larry ($2.20) who is trained by Quentin Schneider for owner Gary Carlson.

Celebrity Status (Nick Roland) completed the exacta and longshot The Creature (Brady Jenson) was home in third.

Two Pistol Annie (Lazarus N) and driver Kennedy worked out a perfect trip in the $21,233 Mares Open Handicap pace and converted it into a track-record tying performance.

After going to the lead and battling with race favourite Illusion Seelster (Jacob Cutting) through the first quarter mile, Kennedy yielded for the pocket and followed intently before attacking at the top of the lane.

Illusion Seelster fought gamely in the stretch but Two Pistol Annie had the most pace to the wire and got by for a one length tally in 1:51 which equalled the track mark for four-year-old pacing mares. Graceful Horizon was third in the record mile.

Two Pistol Annie ($7.00) is owned by Dave Dobbelmann and is trained by Edwin Quevedo.

Delco Irene made it two wins in a row with a very sharp gate-to-wire performance of her own in the $23,288 sophomore fillies 'A' pace.

Driver Brady Jenson wasted no time in sending the daughter of Wind Me Up to the front of the affair from post five and they were never in doubt in the 1:53.2 mile while Apple Juice was second best over Deja Vu Babyboo.

Delco Irene ($7.20) is owned by Jay De Long and is trained by Justin Anfinson.

Search And Destroy (Rick Magee, $5.80) posted a career best effort to win the $11,644 sophomore 'B' pace in 1:55 with an impressive front-end trip. Race favourite Semicolon was second best and Peekabooicantseeu was home third.

The winner is owned by James Springer and Gretchen Roland and is trained by Justin Van Otterloo.

Brady Jenson led the Thursday program with a driving triple and a training double while drivers Rick Magee, James Kennedy and Nick Roland and trainer Edwin Quevedo each had doubles as well.

Live Racing returns to Running Aces on Sunday night (July 28) for a big 12-race program featuring the $50,000 USD Dan Patch FFA pace. There is a tote-bag giveaway as well as Pepsi Family Night specials and kid's activities, trout fishing, food trucks, sole survivor handicapping contest, losing ticket drawings and more.

First post on Sunday is 6 p.m. (CDT).
