Palone Wins Seven At Meadows

After collecting career victory 18,000 two weeks ago, Hall of Famer Dave Palone continues to roll to the next milestone. The 'winningest' driver in harness racing history piloted seven winners on Tuesday’s 14-race card at the Meadows.

Palone scored a pair of victories each for trainers Rom Burke and Paul Corey and singletons for Brent Davis, Dane Snyder and John Sullivan.

Also on Tuesday’s program, players finally solved the mystery of the Pick 5, which had eluded them for three consecutive cards and prompted a $75,000 total-pool guarantee, largest in track history. The Pick 5 returned $6,451 for a $2 ticket.
