An accident occurred during this morning's qualifying session at Rideau Carleton Raceway.
The accident occurred in Race 2 when La Jonice, who was driven by Sylvain Lacaille, fell to the track.
Four other horses were pulled up and did not finish the race.
The horses that were pulled up were Whosurfool (driven by Robert Robinson), Anything But Luck (Mark Steacy), Princess Kate (Rheo Filion) and Rainbow Lilly (Darrell Coville).
