Logan Park has been a regular Free For All competitor this season and on Monday (July 24), he won his seventh outing in the big leagues at Woodbine Mohawk Park to take home the winner's share of the $42,000 purse.
Fashion Frenzie (Louis-Philippe Roy) led the field of top trotters to the opening panel in :27 before Logan Park (Doug McNair) advanced to take over. Logan Park set the tempo for the rest of the mile as he clocked the half in :55.4 and three-quarters in 1:24.3. With a last quarter in :27.1, the Kyle Fellows trainee kept on going to a one-length victory in 1:51.4. Fashion Frenzie finished second and Warrawee Xenia (Bob McClure) flew down the stretch to take third.
Logan Park is owned by Outofthepark Stable, Reg Higgs and Arpad Szabo. He moved his seasonal record to 7-2-0 in nine starts with $158,500 earned. In his career, the five-year-old Archangel son has made 19 trips to the winner's circle, earning $878,722 in 53 starts.
