Two red-hot horses will lock horns on Saturday at Fredericton Raceway in the afternoon's top-class.
American Captain, who has won his last three races, will square off with the horse that keeps getting better with age, Dusty Lane Oscar. He has been the talk of the season in New Brunswick for Team Davies of Saint John.
Race 11 has been selected as the feature, one of 12 that will head to post during the program. First-race post time on Saturday is 1:00 p.m.
American Captain will have the slight edge in post position (Post 5), but will have to contend with Dusty Lane Oscar (Post 6). They will tangle for a purse of $1,500.
Other starters in the race (from Post 1 to 4) are Magical Alex, Manraysonjo, After Lunch Larry and veteran Dance Hanover.
Should Dusty Lane Oscar prevail in the tilt, it will be his 50th lifetime win.
