Md Hardlys Success left the East Coast with a five-race win streak for trainer Danny Romo back in 2009 and since his return in June 2011, he has strung together six consecutive victories while under Andrew Ward’s care -- his latest in the featured $1,500 Winners Over Pace at Exhibition Park Raceway on Saturday afternoon

.

Five-year-old pacer Md Hardlys Success survived a long first over journey before collaring Allbentouttashape (Todd Trites), who set fractions of :29.4, :59 and 1:28.3. The heavy favourite took over command in the stretch and paced home in :30-seconds to score by one and a half lengths in 1:58.4. Allbentouttashape settled for second with Man In Pink (Mark Haig) following the winner’s cover to show.

Md Hardlys Success paid $2.20 to win. The son of Western Success-Hardly Easy is owned by Bill Smith and Wayne Watson, both of Saint John, N.B.

The gelding put together his first win streak at Truro Raceway, but has earned his second streak while racing at EPR, Fredericton Raceway and Red Shores at Summerside Raceway.

The win was his 18th lifetime and pushed his earnings to $58,824.
